Yup. I burnt the shit out of my finger. My finger that two years ago I sliced open. So now I will have a scar from a slice *I was cutting a potato* and now I was making a cake and will have a scar from a cake. ON THE SAME FINGER Y'ALL!!! Its my left pointer finger. Whatever the hell that finger is called.
How did it happen? The burn I mean. I was making cake...because who DOESN'T want cake? And I'm a baker! So I can make EPIC CAKES without trying. Unless I go to check the cake to see if its done, and then forget I have no oven mitt and PUSH the pan back in with my fingers. And then I died. And ran around swearing like a sailor and scaring my cats.
So then like any normal person I told Facebook. And my awesome pinterest friends responded in an even more awesome Hunger Games way. THIS is why I love the internet and Pinterest and Facebook. And this is why we are all POP, Princesses and Princes of Pinterest...I.E. The MAFIA of Pinterest.
And my friends are awesome because we did this:

I have a Secret...
I LOVE Mrs.Butterworth. You know. The syrup. I once was married to a man from Maine...*sounds like a song huh?* and he NEVER wanted to eat it on pancakes or waffles. We always had to have maple syrup. Maple syrup is TOTALLY fine...but give me the cheap stuff and I'm a damn happy girl!
So thats it for now. I'm off to make breakfast for dinner soon! Love you all!
Why am I telling you this? Because I plan on making breakfast for dinner tonight. Pancakes and bacon. Yum! I may make extra pancakes and make them tiny and make a sandwich in the morning with bacon and eggs. That sounds pretty damn good.
But in other news life has been CRUISING in the fast lane by. I have been crazy busy and crazy hectic. I had my 29th birthday. Sadly my friends and I are to busy for me to do anything about it. But yesterday I did go see two movies and in between went and got a large margarita. THAT was kick ass. And hey, I may be going to New Orleans in a few months so I figure I can live it up then...even though I'll be with my mom. She's cool though.
But otherwise life has been crazy. But I'm also loving it. I wish there would be some snow though. I'm kinda getting afraid of the summer. Its going to be horrible. Ack.

Thanksgiving Day
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone, or if you're my Chef from Germany...Happy Extra Days Off Day since you don't celebrate Thanksgiving. But we still love you! <3
I'm spending Thanksgiving with my mother, I normally do every Thanksgiving but this time its just the two of us. She's been sick. But not to worry, she's fine. We haven't spent a Thanksgiving alone since I was five. And this is the first Thanksgiving I've had with my cats. So its kinda fun and interesting. But I do miss my family. Especially my cousin Kevin. We've become pretty good friends over the last few years, we're a lot alike just as our parents *his dad, my mom* are alike. We were supposed to go see him and my two other cousins and my aunt and uncle in Florida for the holiday, but my mom was just to sick to go. So next year I hope. We need to make Moist Makers the day after and go to Harry Potter World. Also, I need to talk him into getting a tattoo. :-D
So, I am thankful for my family, my kitties and getting the opportunity to go to Italy with a Michelin Star Chef and a very good friend. This year has of course had its ups and downs, but its been pretty spiffy.
Also, I'll have a detailed blog about my Thanksgiving day Feast. Its pretty Epic.
