Dinner Party

Everyone at some point in their lives are asked who they would invite to their ultimate dinner party. Young, old, dead...etc. I've been thinking about this for awhile, don't ask me why. But this is my list:

Ginnfer Goodwin - Because I think we would be AWESOME friends. I would love to meet her in person.

Juliet Marillier - By far one of my favorite writers ever. She "re-told" my favorite fairy tale of the sister and her 7 brothers who are turned into swans. Among others.

Jim Parsons - Because I love him. He is SO funny and so amazing.

Albert Einstein - Because who WOULDN'T to have him as part of your perfect dinner party?

My Grandmother - Because she was one of the most amazing women I've ever met.

Walt Disney - Because he was ahead of his time...in most things. I need him to come to dinner so I can show him that there is NOTHING wrong with tattoos and his company should hire people with tattoos.

Hillary Clinton - Because she is awesome. You know it.

Al Gore - To tell him NOT to give up on helping the Earth. He is so influential and I don't think he knows it.

Tamora Pierce - Who I actually had lunch with oh so long ago. But she is an amazing woman, and I would love to have dinner with her as well!

The Cast of Glee - But JUST the cast, not Ryan. He's not invited. But they are awesome, and I know they've changed SO many peoples lives.

Johnny Depp - Yeah...this should be easy to figure out why...

The Cast of The Night Circus book - Because they are AWESOME. And I love them.

Okay, there are more. But I can't think of them right now.

Who would you invite?

Avrei preferito fare il cioccolato su Salsiccia Lunedi poi la Domenica

That says: I would rather make chocolate on Monday then sausage on Sunday. I am in Italy and in bed. Because I have a foot issue. And today we were supposed to make sausage...I opted out of the sausage because as a Pastry Chef I would rather be ready to go for the chocolate class on Monday where we get to make Nativities then make sausage.

By the way, I'm in Italy. HAZAA! My wives *story to come later* are working hard...or perhaps hardly working right now because I bet its lunch time or close to it. But thats okay, I did stray out with my crappy foot to find some food and of course a bottle of wine. The food...not so great. It was anisey potatoes and crappy pizza. I wish I had gone somewhere else. But the wine is fantastic!!!

So far the trip has been amazing. The cooking has been interesting. The wine has flowed, the food never seems to stop and I will never again eat a pastry in my life after this trip. That is the only thing they eat for breakfast over here and they have a HORRIBLE obsession with fennel. I say this because I HATE fennel with an undying passion.

There would be pics with this short post, but I have no way to post them and my phone doesnt want to charge itself over here so you're stuck with nothing...or I'll find something on the Internet. BRB. Okay, never mind. My pictures are better. So you'll have to wait.

ALSO!!!! I will be making a cats of Italy calender. Thats right. I'll post a link right here and you can buy one. It will be EPIC! As there are many awesome cats here and I love them all.

So yes, as I sit in bed doing nothing but drinking wine and wishing I had something else to eat...I hope you all are in good spirits and I wish I could watch Glee and Once Upon a Time over here...but it wont let me. sad sad day.

My Wishes and Dreams

I look all over the Internet and see this AMAZINGLY beautiful, awesome, funny blogs and then I look at mine. Though this is the first blog that I have really kept up with, I still wonder what I could do to make it better? Be funnier? Sure! I wish I could do that all the time. Blog more about food. Do you want me to? Because I can. I guess I just am who I am. Plus I have to clean. And when I say clean I don't mean just vacuum...I have so HEAVY cleaning to do. I don't want to. When I don't want to clean I cook. I already have an awesome smelling potato bake in the oven now. So now I'm turning to blogging. I guess I'll clean soon. But not right now.

So here are a list of my hopes and dreams:

1. I want to work for Disney...without having to cover up my tattoos. But I want to work for them.

2. I want to work for America's Test Kitchen. Not the PBS show part of it, but the magazine part of it.

3. I want to be a personal Chef on a yacht that goes all around the world.

4. I want to open my own bakery. I can't tell you what its theme will be. But BELIEVE me. It will be EPIC!

5. I want to be a caterer for The Big Bang Theory or Glee or Eureka or Warehouse 13.

6. I want Jim Parsons to be my bestest friend. As well as Chris Colfer!

7. I want to live somewhere where it rains every day but visit somewhere for a month where its only sunny.

8. I want to save ALL the animals. Yes. I mean all.

9. I want my mother and family to always be happy, healthy and safe.

10. I want this for my cats and friends too.

11. I want to be understood.

The list goes on. My house smells amazing by the way. From the potato bake. And its raining out. But I have horrid allergies. Blah. Can someone come clean for me?

Getting my Summer TV shows on!

Big Bang is over for the season...sigh. No more Sheldon for 3-4 months. I of course am in denial. Glee is over for the season. No more Rachel and Kurt. At least I have their songs to get me through the long hot summer days. They aren't bringing V back. Which is sad, because it was FINALLY getting good *I'm a fan of the old TV movies* and it was finally living up to those story lines. Of course there are others that have finished for the summer months. But those first 2 are the ones I will miss the most...

On the OTHER hand...we have some AMAZING shows to come. Sadly most of them don't start until the end of this month, the beginning of next month. Thankfully Game of Thrones is on until then. What am I waiting for you ask?

1. True Blood. DUH! I mean, I am a HUGE fan of the books. I love them to death. I am a HUGE fan of Eric and Sookie and Pam and Jessica. I could leave Tara, and Alicide, Bill is to brooding but I have nothing against Bill in the show. Its just Bill in general who annoys me. But this season. The season of the Witch *which I know they will screw up* also gives us a hulking-lost-mind-wonderful-Eric. And the beginning of Sookie's love for him. HAZAA!

2. Eureka! EEP! The new preview has me FREAKING out! Who are those two blonde women walking down the street!? I loved last season, I LOVE the characters and of course...I love my Fargo *I need to have some geeky-nerd in my life all year round. Winter and fall-Sheldon; Summer-Fargo. I sadly have no spring Geek. :-(* July cannot come soon enough. Oh and Lupo and Zane better get back together because they are one HOT couple! <3

3. Warehouse 13! Let me start off by saying this. Fargo had better be gettin' his skinny little butt back to 13 for a crossover with Claudia because they are ADORABLE! I still have BOTH crossover episodes DVR'd and watch them at least once a month. On another note...WHY is Myka leaving and freaking out? I need my Myka/Pete action! They are such brother and sister characters. Sigh.

4. Falling Skies-New tv show...but you put Noah Wyle and Steven Spielberg together and you have gold. I love how Spielberg picks someone *always boys...dude give a GIRL a break for once* and they become their "Golden Child" It happened with Harrison Ford, Shia LaBouf and now Noah. I cannot wait for this show. It looks so awesome!

There are others. Covert Affairs, Drop Dead Diva...and then a few other new ones. Fall season will be awesome though.

On another note, finally have cool air back! Hazaa!
